Case Study: Monterey Peninsula Unified School District

At the outset of our relationship with the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, we purposed to create a comprehensive web presence for the entire organization. Utilizing original photos, and unique color schemes for each school, we were able to do just that.

To start the project, we met with MPUSD’s tech department and all their school principals to determine their objectives, and and how we could best meet those objectives in the most economic and professional way possible.

We worked closely with senior staff to develop and comprehensive strategy that would stay true to the core values of the organization. In the midst of this process, we also met with the board to determine a realistic and responsible budget for the project.

In order for us to be able to create separate online identities for each school in the organization, we mobilized our staff photographers to take original photos at each of their schools.

Once implemented, the program consisted of websites for 29 school in the district, a built in CMS for each site, along with a comprehensive training program for over 400 staff members.

We also provided continuing technical support as the staff members for each school tasked with updated the websites were becoming acclimated to the content management system we implemented.

In short, Clear Blue Studios created, organized, and implemented a unique and complex web development and training project for MPUSD that brought their web presence into the 21st century.

For the roll out of the year, we put together an experiential kick off event for all the faculty and staff, that included special videos created specifically for the event.

The Content Management System being used now by MPUSD allows their staff to edit web pages, add pictures, documents, video clips and for their teachers to keep in contact with their students via class pages.
